Hesafi is short for hesabu safi, Swahili for clean books.

Many small businesses keep their books in an exercise book, a spreadsheet, or not at all. That works until KRA asks a question, or until you want to know whether last month made a profit.

So Hesafi works the other way round. It reads the statement you already get, keeps proper double-entry books on your own phone or computer, works offline, and costs once. We earn from licences and optional AI credits, not from your data: your books never reach our servers.
